‘A Complete Unknown’ (Bob Dylan ft. Timothée Chalamet) – The Latest Trailer

Below is the new trailer. I wrote in the article of Bob Dylan’s Saving Grace on August 15 the following:

In case you haven’t seen it already, I would like to present the new trailer for the Dylan biopic due out this Christmas called A Complete Unknown. It stars the magnificent Timothée Chalamet from the Dune movies and Edward Norton. Speaking of the latter, it was fascinating to watch Norton give his perspective on the young Bob Dylan from his interview with Joe Rogan in October, 2019. Now another preview instalment:

  1. Thanks, this does look intriguing. Timothée Chalamet has a striking similarity to Dylan. I understand he also did the singing. Impressive!

    • I don’t think physically he’s so similar to Dylan, but he does seem to exude many of Bob’s quirky and subtle mannerisms inc. his cheeky grin.
I gather I am going to have the same problem here as I did with the singing in the portrayal of Elton’s voice in ‘Rocketman’. Sure it sounds something alike, but it just doesn’t capture the nuance, timbre and inflections of their original voice.. But we’ll wait and see.

  2. I had no idea this film was made. Timothée Chalamet is far better-looking than Dylan ever was.
