This is unbelievable. They say ‘It depends on the context’. They are heads of the US’s biggest educational institutions. Now lets think of the following scenario: if the questions were asked about genocide of Blacks or Muslims. What do you think their responses would have been?

This is infuriating. Any training on harassment will unequivocally express that harassment is not action-dependent, and I particularly appreciate that Stefanik called out the BS by asking the follow-up about what such an action would look like. So, these university leaders are saying that if the act of genocide were to be carried out, then sure, that would most likely be harassment, I mean, I guess. Maybe. It could be. From a certain point of view. On a case by case basis. Absolutely infuriating.
I don’t have anything more to add. So if it was carried out it would most likely be harassment? So it’s considered just harassment like what the Israeli victims got on Oct 7. Infuriating is one way to put it.
