Massive Lawsuit: Did Social Media Destroy the Kids?

What continues to amaze me is just how much Ben Shapiro continually reflects my own political views. It’s uncanny – there is not one thing I disagree with – and yet I would purport myself a sceptic and hardline critic. My major was Political Systems (with an emphasis on the Russian Revolution).

And while I have kept my blog mostly political-free, apart from what occurred with the Hamas insurgents on October 7th, 2023 – through this The Abduction of 5 Female Israelis on Oct 7, 2023 and then this Prof Conf on Sexual Violence Aspects of October 7th, 2023 – I have been tacit about exploring more here, except now we see the courts making corporate powerhouses accountable, especially those who have exploited young people in their social media windfall.

I wrote a post a long time ago, before any of the above happened, called What Happened to the Political Left and Why I Bailed Out. It’s not in my league of best posts, but explains my disillusionment with this “woke conscientizado” mind virus sweeping the Western world.

It doesn’t help that I live in a country run by a socialist ex-guerrillero in Gustavo Petro. And what’s even more mind-boggling is that, despite the socialist dictatorship regime in neighbouring Venezuela (and the migration crisis that has engulfed Colombia), the majority here in Colombia still seem to support the continued regime, choc-full of socialist ideology.

Also, it doesn’t help that the country is filled with socialist, pro-Guevara academics and professors, which my children – despite being in a Catholic school – have to endure. It’s called social-emotional learning, which James Lindsay broke down and is inherited from the Great Reset from the World Economic Forum and the full-blown Brazilian communist Paulo Freire.

The only shining light I see is Donald Trump. And despite being a lefty from way back – how does that work? Almost every Western democracy now, apart from thousands of U.S. troops deployed to their countries to perhaps, umm, defend them – as it did in Australia to stop it from becoming essentially Japanese – are now just siding with Iran, perhaps not rhetorically but ideologically. It’s beyond comprehension.

This world, apart from what Trump is doing, makes no sense. I wrote before about Western alliances and corporate stakeholderism turning into a “Western Maoism,” which was sure to happen – as you and I sitting here saw during COVID with the draconian measures unleashed – see Special Blog Report – The Phenomenon of ‘Mass – Formation’ as precursor to Totalitarianism.

I don’t see – apart from the landmark social media outcomes in this video – anything changing that. The only thing I see changing it is everything Shapiro advocated for which is… from a family perspective becoming reality like ‘teach your children well’, and people rising up against corporate stakeholderism.
