My Family Cartoon

I remember my school-friend Larry spending countless school hours drawing cartoons of his school friends’ families. He had a peculiar flair for exploiting their features, and did it in such a way that you had to admire his artistry and wit. I have kept one of his drawings for old time’s sake. When I look at it every now and then, I can’t help chuckling.
I’m Matthew by the way.

He nailed my family, he really did… right down to the trailer wheels on my bike. You see, I wasn’t a very good cyclist and Larry was an excellent cyclist and frankly his bike shat all over mine.

Wow! This is gold! I saw that it was drawn in my birth year, how did you keep the drawing? It doesn’t look too old.

    • Oh well now I’m showing my age! 😢😉. I kept a memorabilia scrapbook of my youth, and I took great care of it. So that would explain it. Thanks for stopping by. I’m glad you liked it.
